Help Tarik rebuild his life

When a dream is destroyed but the soul still waits for a helping hand..

My name is Adib, I'm from Portugal. This is a call to donate to my friend in the Gaza Strip, Tariq Ziad Rouk and his family. He needs urgent help. The funds raised in this campaign will be sent directly to his bank account.

Tariq is a young man from Gaza, just starting out in life. He knew nothing more precious than the land. He inherited a small plot from his father and devoted his life to cultivating it with love, with labor, and with prayer. He would rise at dawn and toil under the summer sun and winter rain, all to preserve the last shred of dignity in a time when everything is under siege.

But he wasn’t just working for himself. Tariq was the backbone of his family. He cared for his aging parents, his grandmother, and his four younger siblings. Every seed he planted was a promise to them: a future he was building with his own hands.

Years of farming, years of waiting, years of building a modest dream to expand his land, export his crops, and secure a life of dignity for his loved ones.

But in a single moment, all of it was erased.

Bulldozers of the occupation crushed the land. Bombs wiped out everything. Even the trees weren’t spared. Tariq didn’t just lose a piece of land, he lost his home, his livelihood, his memories, and his future. He has nothing left. Today, he lives displaced with his family, with no shelter, no work, and no clear hope.

And yet, when asked: “What do you wish for?” he answered:

A small piece of land… to farm again. Even if I never see the harvest, it’s enough for me to know I tried to bring life back.
