Tarika, the Assistant Director at La Petite, has been a steady presence in our children’s lives and an amazing asset to the La Petite team. She goes above and beyond to ensure the daycare runs smoothly and that every child feels safe, loved, and supported.

Tarika has recently endured a devastating setback when a large amount of money was stolen from her, pushing her into a difficult financial situation. Despite working two jobs and doing everything she can to recover, she’s now facing the very real possibility of losing her home. If that happens, she may be forced to leave La Petite - a place where she pours her heart into the children every single day. Her absence would be felt deeply by the kids who adore her, the families who trust her, and the staff who count on her.

We’re rallying together to raise $3,000 to help Tarika get back on her feet and stay in her home. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings her one step closer to stability and allows her to continue the incredible work she does for La Petite.
