Along with many residents of Altadena and Pasadena, I lost my home in the Eaton Fire. It has been truly heartbreaking seeing the devastation and destruction caused by this event. While I spent the past 3 years building a beautiful life nestled in a quiet oasis in Altadena, I have lost a lifetime of physical memories and hard work.

While I have lost a lot, I am extremely grateful to be alive. I could have easily been one of those who went to sleep and never made it out.

I had just returned from international travels and was experiencing severe jet lag, so I went to bed (there were no signs of any fires in the area). Four hours later, I was awoken to the fire engulfing the mountains behind me. With heavy eyes, I managed to evacuate safely, with the hopes of returning home soon. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I lost everything!

So many of you have asked what you can do to help. I ask for your support as I get back on my feet. Your support will not only help me get back on my feet, it will help support my friends and loved ones affected by this disaster, as well as the beautiful community of Altadena that has given so much to me as we all recover and rebuild.
