Support Tareq`s Family : Gazan Nurse in Need
Donation protected
Hey all,
Don`t leave my 6 months baby Ayat alone amidst the Genocide!
This campaign is to help my family, the Tareq Abo Abda family from Gaza located in the middle area of the strip.
Who I am?
My name is Tareq Abo Abda. I am a nurse working in the dialysis unit at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Gaza. My family and I are facing an overwhelming crisis due to the ongoing conflict. I am a loving husband and father of five, struggling to support my family amidst this turmoil. Our story is one of resilience, courage, and the desperate need for your help.
My Family
I am married to Aya Alloh, and together we have five wonderful children. Our eldest son, Ibrahim Abu Abda, and his sister, Lama Abu Abda, are on the verge of entering high school. Our younger children, Alma and Ahmad Abu Abda are in elementary school but were unable to continue their studies this year due to the war. Our youngest daughter, Ayat Abu Abda, was born prematurely in the fifth month of the ongoing conflict under dire conditions. On the 4th of February 2024, Aya gave birth through a cesarean section without anesthesia—a testament to the extreme hardships we have faced.

The Impact of War
The war has brought unimaginable suffering to my family and me. Aya and the children fled our home in Al-Bureij - (A city in the middle area of Gaza) under relentless bombing, seeking safety without me as I remained on duty, working 24-hour emergency shifts to care for kidney patients and the wounded. We now live in central Gaza, taking refuge under a makeshift plastic roof. We rely on scarce aid from relief centers and struggle to provide even the most basic necessities, such as milk & diapers for baby Ayat.
Living Conditions
Our home was severely damaged during the conflict, with large holes in the walls and no roof to protect us. The area remains unsafe, making it impossible for us to return. My meager earnings from the hospital are insufficient to cover the extensive repairs needed to make our home livable again. We endure cold, rain, and now, the summer heat and insects, posing a risk to Ayat's health. The lack of proper shelter and resources has left us in a constant state of fear and uncertainty.

My Message
"Days have passed without food. Rainwater flooded our shelter in winter, and now, in summer, we suffer from insects that could harm our little Ayat. I spend my days at the hospital with patients and the wounded, working 24-hour shifts without pay. Dates and months have lost their meaning to me. It has been nine months of war, nearly a year. Time and money mean nothing compared to my wife's health, who gave birth without anesthesia, and my daughter’s need for milk and diapers. I feel helpless, unable to provide for my family, but your help could make a difference."
How the Funds Will Be Spent?
Your support can bring a ray of hope to my family. Every $1 counts:
1. Medical treatment and post-cesarean surgery for Aya: Ensuring she receives the necessary care to recover from her difficult childbirth.
2. Milk and essentials for baby Ayat: Vital supplies to ensure the health and growth of our six-month-old daughter.
3. Repairing essential facilities: Fixing the bathroom and ensuring access to clean drinking water.
4. Home repairs: Rebuilding our home to provide a safe and secure environment for the family once it is safe to return.

I dream of a safe place for my family, away from the constant threat of war. My wife suffers from post-surgical complications, and we live in dire conditions. Your contributions, no matter the amount, can be the lifeline we need in this endless war. I fear for the future, but with your help, I hope to change it.
Help us rebuild our lives. Your donation can be the difference between despair and hope.
