Separated from her children and home, Taren is rebuilding from the ground up—with legal help and hope.
Dear family, friends, neighbors, and kind-hearted strangers,
This is one of the most humbling things I’ve ever written, but I’m turning to community in a moment of deep need — because community has always been at the center of my heart.
For the last 11 years, I’ve been a full-time stay-at-home mom, fully devoted to raising our four children and supporting my family in every way I could. I’ve always believed in pouring into others — whether that meant organizing for local causes, showing up for neighbors in need, or simply being a safe place for those going through hard times. Giving back has never been a question — it’s been my joy.
Now I find myself on the other side — displaced from my home, separated from my children, and trying to rebuild a life from the ground up after an unexpected and painful family breakdown.
I’m raising $28,000 to cover the urgent costs of securing legal representation and basic living needs during this transitional period.
• $25,000 will go directly toward family law attorney fees to help ensure I can protect my rights and reunite with my children.
• $3,000 will help me cover immediate needs such as contributing to rent (as I’m staying with a friend), food, bills, and transportation while I work toward temporary employment.
I’m about nine months away from being able to return to my professional career as a dental hygienist, and I’m committed to that goal. In the meantime, I just need a little help getting through this in-between chapter — finding stability for myself and my children, and securing legal support to protect our future.
If you know me, you know I’ve always been someone who shows up — for my kids, my family, my friends, and my community… for anyone struggling. I’m reaching out now with humility and hope, trusting that the same kindness and generosity might return when I need it most.
Every donation, every share, every prayer — it’s not just financial help; it’s a lifeline, reminding me that I’m not alone.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading, for caring, and for walking with me through this season.
With all my heart,
Taren Carranza
