Urgent Request for Help: Help "Tara" and Family This Christmas

Hi, I'm Zach, and I'm fundraising for my colleague, we will call her "Tara," and her family. They urgently need our help due to unanticipated medical bills and reduced income right at Christmas time.

Tara (fake name to keep this anonymous) and her husband are truly exceptional. They have spent years fostering many kids and recently adopted a 2-year-old child who is deaf, choosing to give a stable home to a child with special needs who faced bad odds in the foster system.

Tara is the definition of selfless—the first to help a colleague and someone who would literally give you the shirt off her back.

The Crisis: Due to recent medical expenses, her family is unable to afford groceries outside of those they get through WIC right at Christmas time. If they cant even afford groceries obviously they aren't able to afford anything else for Christmas.

We can't solve all their long-term problems, but we can help them through this immediate challenge (and hopefully help with some Christmas). Please help us show the true Christmas spirit by giving back to a family that has given so much to others.
