Help Tara's Family Recover from Fire Tragedy
Donation protected
On the morning of May 17th, 2024, tragedy struck the Byrne-Heater family as they lost their home of 15 years and their cherished cat, Bessy, in a devastating house fire. Children at the school across the street watched helplessly as the fire destroyed the entire house and left the family without basic necessities, including food, clothing, and other essential supplies.
Tara, a lunch and recess monitor at Oak Street Elementary School and sister of Theta Alpha Lambda sorority, Spring 1995, is now facing the daunting challenge of rebuilding their lives from scratch. Her son, Aiden, a sophomore at Plattsburgh High School, has the added pressure of finishing up the school year strong.
The family anticipates being displaced from their home, adding immense financial strain. We have created this fund to help ease the burden of this devastating loss and provide a relief from stress as they navigate next steps. Tara is determined to rebuild their lives, but they need our help to make this possible.
Your generosity will directly aid in providing the family with immediate necessities such as clothing, food, and temporary housing. Any donations you can provide will be of great help and support.
Thank you for your support during this difficult time.
