Hello, my name is Tara Blizzard. I created this GoFundMe on behalf of my mom and dad.

UPDATE: Dad passed away peacefully last night 12/4/25 surrounded by love. His wishes were to be cremated... any donations will go to the cost of this. We are thankful he is now at peace but he will surely be missed by all.

On Nov. 14, 2025, my dad had taken a bad fall and was taken to the hospital not only for the fall but because he was coughing up blood as well. He suffers from dementia and early Alzheimer's. Little did we know he wouldn't be coming home that day. They admitted him because after running several tests, it came back that he has stage 4 liver cancer.

My dad is now home on hospice. He needs around-the-clock care, but unfortunately, hospice only allotted my mom 3 hours a week. My mom still works and needs to financially. During the days she works, I hired a private caretaker to help with dad. I'm a single mom who already works 2 jobs. This expense isn't a burden because I would do anything for my dad, but it is causing hardships. I just want to be able to help my mom and dad any way possible more than I already am. It's such a heartbreaking time, especially around the holidays. Anything is greatly appreciated, even thoughts and prayers. Thank you all.
