My name is Sonya (Broglio) Finn and I set up this fund for Tara Fellos, who has been one of my best friends since we were five years old. We both grew up in Chester, California and are Plumas County natives. Tara lived in Greenville, California, a small town which was devastated by the Dixie Fire on August 4, 2021. The apartment Tara lived in was completely destroyed and she lost many of her belongings, including some sentimental items she cannot now replace.

Tara has become part of the Greenville community over the last few years and was the manager at the local Dollar General store. When I talked with her about the fire, she spoke passionately about returning to her community and how she is missing and worrying about many of her customers and neighbors.

Tara is blessed to have family and friends to stay with for now, but she is in need of a few essentials to get her through this time. I would like to help ease the pain of uncertainty my friend is feeling. I want to get Tara the things she needs and some additional funds to help her get into a new home and start again when the time comes.
