Help Tara & Shawn Pay For Cancer Treatments

Hi, I’m Kris Eshleman. My brother, Shawn Zimmerman, & his beautiful wife, Tara, have been quietly struggling since Tara lost her job last year due to the COVID crisis.

That, on top of dealing with her intestinal cancer diagnosis, treatment & surgery in June, has placed them under a lot of financial strain.

Then came the drawbacks. This month alone, Tara’s spent two weeks in the hospital, recovering from complications (excessive scar tissue buildup, surgery to remove it, sepsis, abscesses, leakage from internal stitches, & a blood transfusion). She now has drainage tubes & 2 ostomy bags to contend with. The docs told my brother that they feel the infection's under control & they’re hopeful they can release her on Sunday afternoon.

I adore my big brother, & want so badly to help, but since I live 450+ miles away & have my own health issues during this pandemic... I needed to be creative.

So I’ve started this campaign to raise what I can to help them pay their bills. Shawn & Tara also have 2 incredible teenagers that’ve been unselfishly supportive & doing all they can to help their parents, too.

I know there are thousands of people in our country in desperate need, & I wish I could help them all. But as of right now, my brother & sister-in-law are my primary focus. Anything you can donate would be so greatly appreciated.
