Tara is one of the raddest dogs and she needs your help! A few weeks ago, she jumped from a rock onto the sand and immediately stopped putting weight on her leg. I hoped it was just a sprain, but after a month, she was still limping and not bearing weight. I took her to the vet, and after a $1500 vet visit, we learned she had torn her ACL. The surgery to fix her leg and allow her to walk without future problems is not covered by the insurance I have for Tara even after having the vet put a request to the insurance to pay for this because it was an accident, unfortunately no luck.

Tara has the spirit of a pup—she’s so athletic and smart, always ready to play or go on an adventure. Right now, she’s really favoring one leg, and the vet says if we don’t fix it, it could lead to further issues in her hips and other knee. The funds raised here will go directly to her surgery and recovery, giving her the best chance to return to her happy, active self.
