One month after being suspended, HomeTown Bank FIRED Tara. There's no question the School Board thought this issue, that they created, had blown over but they were WRONG! They messed with the wrong single-mom. Tara is a FIGHTER and as of December 6th she has filed federal lawsuits against the School Board and HomeTown Bank.
Her legal fees are likely going to be pushing 6-figures so please pitch in as she's not just fighting for her First Amendment rights, but for each and everyone of ours as well.
For simply voicing her displeasure with the behavior of Shakopee School Board Chair, Kristi Peterson, Tara has been put on a 2-week unpaid leave. She exercised her first amendment protected right to political speech on Facebook on Monday night and on Tuesday Superintendent Mike Redmond notified Tara's employer and strong-armed her employer to punish Tara for simply voicing her opinion of an elected official.

Tara strongly believes that she is going to be terminated for her simple Facebook post. Please do what you can do help her out as she has done nothing wrong and is the victim of a politically motivated attack by Kristi Peterson and Mike Redmond.
