Help Tara, in memory of Kathy

If you knew Kathy Shah, you knew her love for family and friends, as well as her passion for kindness, equality, and pure love. Kathy and her daughter, Tara, started a new journey which began with their move to Alabama at the end of January, where they were to live with Kathy's love, John, and Tara enrolled in college. Shortly after arriving in Alabama, Kathy was diagnosed with COVID-19. She took every precaution possible to protect herself and others by masking and being fully vaccinated. Kathy was quickly hospitalized with oxygen, steroids, and antibiotics to help her try to beat COVID. However, she did not win her battle. Kathy developed a blood clot and passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the young age of 54.

Kathy was so proud of her daughter, Tara, and the two were inseparable. When Kathy was in the hospital, all she would worry about was Tara. All of Kathy's friends and family, including her Honeoye Falls-Lima High School family, know that as difficult as it may be, Tara must continue her journey. We know that her guardian angel Mom will be with her every step of the way.

As you know, finances are challenging enough as a single mom, but now Tara needs our help. In memory of Kathy, please consider sharing and/or donating to help Tara continue her journey and help fulfill the dreams Kathy had for her daughter.
