Help Tara and Her Son Stay in Their Home

Hello everyone! My name is Tara and I am a single mother with one beautiful 9-year-old son. Back in June of 2024, I lost my job, resulting in a snowball effect of financial and emotional distress. I've been able to secure a part-time position as a bartender, but due to the catastrophic damage I had already endured, I have fallen behind significantly on my rent and general overhead expenses. I have tried everything possible to make ends meet, including endlessly searching for permanent employment, but unfortunately, I have been unable to do so. Going from a six-figure salary to making single-digit hourly wages has, as you can imagine, resulted in catastrophic financial distress.

I am now several months behind on rent and am seeking donations to ensure that my young son and I can remain in our apartment and avoid eviction. I have no family in the area and I have extinguished all other possible solutions up until now. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
