Care for Stray and Feral Cats

[Tapioca is a female feral cat that's been basically living in my family's backyard for a few months. We've been putting food out for her and she's been warming up to us but she's very anxious around strangers and coming into the house.

My mom and I are raising money in order to get her checked up at the vet, making sure she's healthy, dewormed, treated for fleas, vaccinated and spayed (in the case she's not already carrying). We also hope to build or buy an outdoor shelter for her to sleep in, safe from harsh weather, raccoons and other predetors.

Any money raised would go towards her veterinary bills, shelter and food.

We would love to give this little sweetheart a better life, any help is welcomed!]

My name is Sumayya, a resident and pet owner in Mississauga.

My family backyard often has stray cats that visit who need medical attention, food, and shelter from the harsh weather.

I've personally adpoded 3 (including Tapioca), have rehomed another 3, reunited 1 with its owners, and still feed 1 frequent outdoor cat (and sometimes others) all since the pandemic started.

My point is, there's a large community of uncared for cats in the area who need help.

I've done my best to put out a bed, a DIY insulated cat shed, a heated water bowl and food in the backyard.

There is currently 1 cat (Oreo) who is a frequent stay, while others come and go. My goal is to raise money enough to capture him so that we can complete bloodwork, vaccinate, neuter and then release him (unless he's socialized and adopted).

Any donations to support me in my efforts are greatly appreciated!! These cats deserve better than to live this way. ):
