Help Tap Recover from a Traumatic Injury
Donation protected
Dear friends and animal lovers,
I'm reaching out to you today with a heavy heart to share Tap's story. Tap, one of my beloved dogs, was tragically shot by a pellet gun, causing severe internal injuries. He underwent emergency surgery, as the pellet traveled six inches through his abdomen, piercing his intestine and lodging inside him. He was at home so some monster of a person came and shot him, Monday April 22, 2024 on my property in Julian CA. He's been in care since Tuesday and is currently in the Emergency Animal Hospital in Poway, CA.
Tap is a fighter, and he's currently in recovery, but the medical expenses have been overwhelming. So far, I've spent over $14,000 on emergency care, and Tap still has a long road ahead of him.
As much as it pains me to ask for help, I'm humbly reaching out to our community for support. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly towards Tap's medical bills and ongoing care.
Tap is not just a pet; he's a cherished member of my family and one of my best friends. Your kindness and generosity during this difficult time mean the world to me and his sister Callie.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for considering to help Tap get back on his paws.
With gratitude,
Nick and Tap and Callie
P.S. I am putting together a reward and if anyone is prosecuted and I can get restitution I will donate 100% of the funding to an animal cause.
