We are devastated to share that Tanya Matter, a loving and devoted mother of four, passed away unexpectedly on 9/17/25. She was only 52 years old, with so much life ahead of her, and leaves behind her greatest accomplishments, her children, Coreena, Kollin, Kole, Kalanna, & Mya.

Tanya was known for her kindness, strength, joy, and the way she lit up every room with her smile & infectious laugh. She worked tirelessly to provide for her family, and her children were her whole world. She was a loving daughter of Nina and Bobby, supporting sister to Corey, Rheanna, Ryan & Missy and the kind of friend everyone wished they had! Tanya was always taking in the broken and trying to heal them. She gave more than she received and never expected anything in return. She made strangers friends and friends family, opening her home to all. Now, with her sudden passing, her family is left not only grieving an unimaginable loss but also facing a future without the steady love and support of their mother.
