Carrying on Chris’s Light—In Loving Memory of Chris- Supporting Tanya & Rylee West

It’s hard to even find the words to write this. With heavy hearts, we share the heartbreaking loss of Chris, a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and amazing friend who meant so much to so many.

Chris was devoted to his family in every way. Chris faithfully served his community through his work at Bureau of Prisons, dedicating his days to helping others and providing for his family. He had a quiet strength that spoke volumes, and his love for his family and friends was unwavering.

Our hearts ache deeply for Tanya and Rylee as they face the days ahead without him, especially in the wake of such an unexpected and sudden loss. We know that God has called Chris home, and though we don’t understand why, we trust that His plan is greater than our pain.

My name is Cheryl Stauffer and I am Tanya West’s colleague at Florida Virtual School, and this GoFundMe has been created to help ease some of the heavy burdens her family is facing. These funds will go directly to Tanya and will be used to help with funeral expenses related to honoring Chris’s life and to support daily needs and expenses during this difficult time. Tanya West will be the beneficiary to these funds.

Right now, things are especially challenging. This GoFundMe is intended to help ease their burdens and offer some stability as they navigate this heartbreaking time.
