Support For Medical & Recovery Costs for Tanya’s Accident
Donation protected
On May 1st, my mom Tanya suffered a devastating accident at home while doing yard work. She fell from a ladder, resulting in serious injuries: tibial plateau fractures in both legs and multiple fractures in her wrist. She was rushed to the ER by ambulance and had to undergo emergency surgery on both legs, requiring plates and screws to stabilize the damage.
After several days in the hospital, she was transferred to a long-term rehabilitation facility where she remains completely bedbound. She now needs full-time assistance for basic daily tasks and faces a long, uncertain road to recovery. At this point, we don’t know when she’ll be able to return to work.
If you know Tanya, you know she is the sweetest most loving person. She works as a hospice caregiver in Springfield, OR, offering compassion and dignity to patients and their families during the most vulnerable times of their lives. She is selfless, strong, and one of the hardest-working people I know.
The medical bills from the ambulance, emergency surgery, hospital stay, and rehab care are overwhelming. While insurance is covering part of the cost, much of it is still out-of-pocket—on top of the added stress of being unable to work for an unknown amount of time.
Currently hoping to raise funds to help cover:
• Uncovered medical expenses
• Long-term rehabilitation care
• At-home equipment and care once she’s released
• General living costs while she’s out of work
Your support will go directly toward giving Tanya the space and stability to heal, regain mobility, and one day walk again. Anything you can contribute-whether a donation or simply sharing this page-means the world to our family❤️
