I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my very close friend Tanya, whose world was shattered by the sudden loss of her husband — the love of her life and the heart of their family. They shared a deep, rare kind of love. They were true partners, best friends, and devoted parents who built their lives around each other and their two little children.

Right now, Tanya is still in shock. She is trying to process a reality that doesn’t feel real — that the man she loved, leaned on, and built her future with is suddenly gone. He was her safety, her strength, and the main provider for their family. In the midst of unimaginable grief, she is also facing the impossible task of being strong for two young children who have just lost their daddy.

They had only just taken a huge step forward as a family by buying their home — a place meant to be filled with laughter, milestones, and years of memories together. Instead, Tanya is now left with a pain no one should ever have to carry, along with the overwhelming responsibility of a household and a future that was never meant to be faced alone.

This fundraiser is meant to help Tanya breathe — to help with her daily living expenses, childcare, and to give her time and space to grieve without the constant fear of how she will survive financially while caring for her children.
