Help Tanqueray Walk Again: Support His Rehab

Many of you know Tanqueray, my sweet pup, who went down, losing the use of his back legs, due to IVDD in August of 2024. At that time, we were initially told surgery was his only option for regaining mobility. The cost and risk of surgery led us to look for other options.

Over the past 7.5 months, we have treated him with medication, strict crate rest, and at-home physical therapy while we waited to see what mobility he might regain. He is starting to try to stand on his own, can stay standing for short periods of time if helped up, and is moving much, much more.

This month, we found a rehab facility in Middlebury that was willing to see him. After meeting with the doctor there and having thermal imaging done, they are confident that intensive physical therapy and medication will help rebuild muscle in his hind legs and allow him to walk again. We desperately want to start this course of treatment lasting roughly 15 weeks. The $1600 will cover the 20 PT sessions needed to help our boy walk again!
