Our dear friend, Tannis, desperately needs your help.

On December 21 2018, she had a 2 centimetre cancerous tumour removed from her neck, along with her salivary gland. She has been left paralysed down one side of her face.




The tumour is stage 3:  “Metastatic basal cell carcinoma with squamous differentiation” is one theory, but the team of doctors at Kaiser are not clear of exactly the origin or what kind of cancer this is because of its rarity.  What we do know is that thankfully, it has not spread to other parts of her body. 

Her treatment plan  is to have extensive dental extractions and then a face mask made in preparation for radiation. Following two weeks of recovery, she will begin 6 weeks of radiation therapy.  

Tannis will be unable to work for the next two months, and she needs help to cover her basic living expenses, including rent, food and medical insurance. Tannis currently has only herself to rely on for financial support, and all monies raised would go towards helping her make ends meet while she fights this terrible disease.


Tannis is a loving mother to Olivia, and a beautiful soul.  She is a loyal and fiercely caring friend. Please help us to help her by donating whatever you can.
