Hey, my name is Robin Russell, and I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my story. My son, Tanner Russell, has just been told that he is having a very quick bilateral hip replacement at 27 years old.

Many of you have seen my children grow up here on Signal Mountain. Tanner was first diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis in his right hip at 15 years old. At that time, I could cover him with insurance for Humira injections. However, that ended. He has endured the pain (that is now in both right and left hips) for 7 years. He had finally received insurance and went to his rheumatologist who originally diagnosed him 7 years ago. X-rays showed bone on bone.

He is an amazing man, husband, and father of 2 boys with another boy due in November.

Unfortunately, the company he works for does not pay benefits or loss of pay. They are securing his job, but there will be a major loss of weekly pay during recovery. And his insurance is through ObamaCare. So I’m sure there will be outstanding medical bills as well. Tanners beautiful, loving wife stays at home and takes care of their children.

Any money donated will be used exclusively to cover and help with weekly wages lost.

I do praise the Lord for His guidance and quick recovery from this much needed surgery. Tanner rarely complains of pain, but it is seen on his face and how he walks.
