Help Tank Overcome His Medical Battles

Hey guys.

This incredible pup, who is only a little over a year old, has been a source of unconditional love and joy to my teacher at school. Tank was recently diagnosed with bilateral hip dysplasia and a torn ACL. He will require total hip replacement on both his left and right hip and an ACL repair on his left knee. Also, this Tuesday Tank became very sick and had to be rushed to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. To date he is still in the ICU and undergoing treatment. He now has an NG feeding tube that will also help expel fluid from his stomach and he continues to have severe diarrhea and dehydration. At this point the vet bill is already over $7000 and the Dr says in total it will be 30k+ with all the surgeries

The heart-wrenching reality is that my teacher doesn't have the financial means or insurance to cover these critical procedures. It pains me to think of her facing this overwhelming situation alone, especially knowing how much her dog means to her.

It’s hard to watch someone as strong as her break down in the middle of class because she is realizing the surgeries are going to wipe out her savings and require her to work overtime to be able to pay everything off. I'm reaching out to my online community in hopes we can help ease some of her struggles.
