- I
On Thanksgiving Day, my world was shaken. Tank was suddenly attacked by a stray dog that jumped our gate and came into our yard. He had only been outside for a moment, peacefully doing what he does every day, when everything turned into chaos. I rushed him to the Veterinary Specialty and Treatment Center, where he underwent a long, terrifying emergency surgery. Every minute felt like hours.
Tank isn’t “just a dog.” He is my heart, my companion, my first baby. He has been with me through some of the hardest moments of my life, and in many ways, he is the reason I’m still here today. Saving him was never a question—I would give anything for him. I used all of my savings to get him through surgery, but he still needs important follow-up care, including visits on December 1st and December 12th.
It’s incredibly hard for me to ask for help, but Tank means everything to me, and I want to give him every chance to heal fully. Any support—whether through donations, sharing our story, or simply keeping us in your prayers—truly means the world. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your compassion and love during this painful time.
