help tania afford start-up costs for tapif

Hello! I am a former Reed student who was recently selected to participate in the TAPIF program in France this upcoming school year starting in October. While I was at Reed, I was active in student publications, served on the judicial board and majored in comparative literature, through which I discovered my passion for French literature and culture. I've been placed in the Academic de Versailles to teach at the primary level, and will hopefully be living in/around Paris. 

I'm fundraising to cover my initial costs of living when I arrive, since the processing time for paperwork means that assistants get paid about a month in to already living in France. The goal I've put here reflects the amount of money for start-up costs which participants are recommended to arrive with according to the assistant handbook, plus airfare costs.  Thanks so much!
