Hurricane Melissa's 185 mph winds did not discriminate. In the close-knit area of Tangle River, Saint James, numerous homes—the modest, resilient structures built by hard work and hope—were severely damaged. Our most urgent, overwhelming need right now is roof repair.

For many residents, their entire roof structure was either stripped away or compromised, leaving homes exposed to the relentless rain that followed the storm. Imagine losing everything you own because the roof meant to protect your family and belongings is suddenly gone.
