Help Tana Thomaston - DEAD tree can fall on home!

Tana's story:

I am in a difficult situation & I realize it’s time to push my pride aside and ask for much needed help. I’ve been independent my whole life but at this point I truly need help.

During a recent storm branches from a tree broke off & damaged my carport & neighbors' fence. Thankfully my insurance will be taking care of the damage costs minus my deductible. My neighbors were very concerned about the existing tree & called the Alabama Division of Forestry to assess. I was devastated to learn I am in a very risky position as it could fall within six months. The forester recommended that I move out of my bedroom as soon as possible. A few large branches have fallen since his visit. Thankfully nothing was damaged but need to be cut & removed.

I do not have family that I could reach out to for help which is why I’m here. Only a few of my friends know that my parents, husband & only child have already passed. I’m hoping those who know me might reach out. It would be a comfort to feel like I have people who care.
