Help Tana Recover from Motorcycle Accident

Hi all, I'm Tana. This past weekend (Feb 1st) I was in a motorcycle accident and it led to two broken bones in my left leg. (Tibia and fibula, photo below) After waiting five hours in the ER they told me I would have to get surgery to fix this. I got emergency orthopedic surgery shortly after on Monday (Feb 3rd), and now I'm in recovery.

Potentially the worst part of this is I don't have health insurance, so this is 1000x more scary because of that. The insurance options available for me are too much to even afford! I am not sure how much this is going to cost yet, but between the ER, surgery, and post-op (PT, meds, etc) it's not going to be cheap, and any help will be appreciated.

In the case that any significant portion of the bill is covered by Health Safety Net/Medicare and there is left over money, I am committed to forwarding the donations towards MTPC (Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition) for their REACH program; a support fund for medical emergency bills of transgender and non-binary individuals.
