Help TAMU Sahithya Compete Nationally!

Sahithya is the premier Indian Classical Dance Team at Texas A&M University. The name itself, Sahithya, means literature or lyricality in Sanskrit, which the team brings through the complexity of emotion portrayed. Sahithya urges for the preservation of traditional style and culture while also bringing a contemporary richness to their dance. We strive to bring awareness to social issues that affect the South Asian American community through the classical arts. Due to COVID, we have not been able to have a full competition season. This is the last year for many of our members and we would love your support to represent our beautiful culture and our university on the national stage.
