My name is Tammy, and I’m asking for help for my family as we face one of the hardest times in our lives. At the end of July, my grandmother was diagnosed with stage 4 bladder cancer, and since then her health has declined so quickly. She was on hospice in our home for a week before her condition became worse, and now she is in a facility in her final days. My grandmother has been so much more than a grandparent to me. She has been like a second mother, and we lived together for 8 years. She has always been deeply concerned about my mom, me, and my two children, and watching her go through this has been heartbreaking for all of us.

Sadly she didn’t have life insurance. I also lost my job before all of this happened.My grandmother, My mother , and I shared the responsibility of paying bills. Too loose our multigenerational home would be devastating to my grandmother.

She was my second mother , My bestfriend , the greatest great grandmother and a veteran.

As we try to be there for my grandmother and say our goodbyes, the emotional pain has also brought serious financial strain. I am doing everything I can to help my mom and my children stay in our home and keep our family stable through this. The support from this fundraiser will help with housing costs, medical bills, and other urgent needs as we navigate these final days and the difficult time ahead.
