My name is Tammy, and I’m reaching out for help for my household during an incredibly difficult time. I was injured at work and unable to continue my therapies, which meant my payments stopped. Then, in October, I was diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer. I started chemo and radiation, but just four days later, I came down with influenza A. Three days after that, I developed necrotizing pneumonia, and within days, I was hospitalized for five days.
Because I haven’t been able to work, we’ve fallen behind on rent and bills. My landlord has been understanding and is willing to waive late fees if we can catch up, but we urgently need to pay overdue rent and keep up with upcoming payments to avoid more late fees and possible eviction. On top of that, I have many doctor appointments, ongoing chemo every Tuesday, and on February 2nd, I’ll need a feeding tube put in. There are also appointments with infectious disease specialists and chest x-rays coming up.
I’m asking for a hand up during this difficult time. I truly appreciate everyone reading this and helping in any way possible. As soon as I’m able to get back to my treatments and work, things will change. I believe God is right here beside me, and I’m expecting a miracle. Thank you for your kindness and support.
