Help Kimani and Family Honor Kylar's Memory

This Go fund me is for my coworker's daughter Kimani Farias and their family who have endured a tragedy. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside Tammy, Kimani's mom for many years. Tammy is a kind-hearted and dedicated mother, grandmother, friend and coworker, always willing to help those around her. On November 4, 2024, Kimani, and her 5-year-old grandson, Kylar “Ky Ky” Farias, were in a severe car accident. Tragically, Kylar did not survive. Their family is devastated, and they could truly use some support and lots of prayers during this heartbreaking time.

I asked Tammy to describe her grandson, and this is what she said.

“Kylar was born on April 25, 2019. He was a bright and loving little boy, full of energy, strength, and bravery. He adored his mom, his brothers, and his family, always playing the role of the protector. Kylar had a big personality; he loved Spider-Man, especially the Miles Morales version, and the movie Trolls. Known to his loved ones as “Ky Ky,” he filled his days with laughter and light, dancing to his favorite songs like “Scared of the Dark” by Lil Wayne, “Sunflower” by Post Malone, and “Lucid Dreams” by Juice WRLD. His favorite foods included “white noodles,” as he lovingly called Alfredo pasta, and his favorite colors were black, red, and blue.”

This past year has been especially hard for this beautiful family, and this unimaginable loss has shaken them to their core. If you’re able to help in any way, please consider donating.
