Hi my name is Renee. My dear friend Tammy is going through chemo and radiation for breast cancer. I am raising funds to help her with the expenses that she will incur during her labs and radiation treatments. She will have completed her chemo treatments as of the end of March and will begin the process of labs and radiation immediately after.

She just lost her mom in December and is trying to stay positive with everything that is going on in her life. Having the burden of worrying about where she is going to get the funds to travel back and forth to her appointments would be a huge load off of her shoulders.

She will have to travel about 100 miles for each of her upcoming 5 lab appointments and then about the same mileage for radiation treatments which will be daily for 4 weeks.

We don't know yet how her body will react to the radiation and there may be times she won't be able to make the trip home after a treatment and may need lodging and meals.

The price of gas in her area is averaging about $4.20 per gallon this week (3/24/22) and we don't know what that price will look like in April.
