Help Tammy T Fight Leukemia

Donation protected
Hello All,
It is with a heavy heart that I am sharing the news that Tammy T's leukemia has returned.

As many of you already know, Tammy was first diagnosed with Acute Leukemia in early 2016. At the time that she was diagnosed, her oncologist told her that if they hadn't caught it when they did she would have only had about two weeks left to live.

For several months she was hospitalized and unable to see anyone as she fought through grueling chemotherapy. Eventually she was able to return home and after additional week long treatments she was given a tentative clean bill of health.

A year later, while she was waiting for a bone marrow transplant, her leukemia returned. She had to undergo chemo therapy again and then proceed with a bone marrow transplant (She was very blessed that her brother is a perfect match).  After several months of being away from home and the boys for these treatments, she got to come home again.

Although there have been some graft vs. host complications and she continues to have a compromised immune system, the last year and a half she has not had signs of the leukemia.

This changed last week. At her regularly scheduled oncology appointment, the doctor saw something in her blood work that was concerning. Today she went in for a bone marrow biopsy and received confirmation that the leukemia has returned. She was allowed to go home long enough to tell the boys and now she has returned to the hospital for her next fight.

As most of us can only imagine, these treatments are a horrible experience that destroys Tammy's body from the inside out, leaving a very long road to recovery. With all that she has been through since her initial diagnosis, she has been unable to work since 2016. She has insurance through Jason's work, but they have a deductible to meet each year. They were still working on paying off the 2018 deductible, and hadn't begun to make payments for 2019 when all of this hit again.

Tammy needs $4,300 to finish paying off last year's deductible and $6,000 for this year's. We can't do anything to carry Tammy's physical pain and burden, but if you can help the family with the medical expenses that will be a huge relief of their financial burden.

Please keep her, Jason, the boys, and all of her family in your thoughts and prayers!
