As my legs further weaken and I struggle to stand and walk, my wheelchair is becoming more necessary when I go out. Wheelchair vans start around $150,000, which is out of our price range. I also love my Jeep too much!

Wil and I found a Roof Wheelchair Storage Device that I could use independently, and it would keep my foldable wheelchair safely stored on my Jeep's roof. Unfortunately, the price is thousands more than we have and would take at least three years to save.

With my heart in my hand and my pride swallowed, I am asking friends and family to help. GoFundMe states the amount will increase to our maximum as donations are made; the initial amount is below the cost of the device and the highest will help us also remove some rust that will begin to be an issue in the next two years.

I want to remain independent as long as possible. Devices to assist with mobility and disabilities are so expensive that to remain independent and continue to do activities like going for groceries or visiting my parents, I need to have help funding this.
