Help Tammy Miller During Her Healing Journey

This page has been created on Tammy Miller's behalf. If you know Tammy, you know that she puts the needs of others ahead of her own needs. Unfortunately, there's been a sudden change in Tammy's life and she is now reaching out for support.

Tammy was admitted to St. Margaret's hospital for hypokalemia, or low potassium. Her potassium levels were life-threatening upon admission, and she remains in the hospital to be closely monitored by her medical team. While in the hospital, Tammy has undergone a blood transfusion due to a very low red blood cell count. She will also have her gallbladder removed at a later date, as they are unable to perform the surgery now due to persistent low levels.

As a result, Tammy has needed to miss many days of work and is feeling the financial strain of paying bills. Her PTO time at work will not cover most of her time off, and with multiple outpatient visits and gallbladder surgery once she's discharged, more time off in the near future is expected.
