Tammy Rowell is my 54-year-old daughter and a special needs adult. Since birth, Tammy has faced tremendous challenges due to seizures that caused brain damage, leaving her with lifelong difficulties. She is still very much like a child, and I have cared for her every day. Over the years, the medications Tammy needs have taken a toll on her health, especially her teeth. Now, she must be hospitalized to receive dental work, and the cost for her procedure is more than I can afford. As her parent, I simply do not have the resources to cover her care, so I have had to put off her treatment until I could find a way to afford it.
