Help Tammy Centers: An Animation Student Battling Cancer

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Matthew Yoklavich, and I'm starting this fundraiser for my girlfriend, Tammy Centers. Tammy is a 21 year old animation student at CSUN with a strong passion for digital art and bringing characters to life. Unfortunately, her life took a turn when she was diagnosed with stage 3 Ovarian Cancer. This changed everything for her.

Tammy has always been a bright and joyful person. Her favorite color is pink, her favorite animals are cats, and her favorite shows are My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, The Amazing World of Gumball, and Chowder. But this challenging journey has made it difficult for her to find joy in the things she loves.

Three years ago, Tammy lost her mom, just before graduating from high school. Since then, she had to take a lot of responsibilities, including helping care for her 13 year old brother, who is on the high end of the autism spectrum. She shares a small room with him, which adds to the challenges she faces daily. Despite these hardships, Tammy has always been strong and determined to pursue her dreams in animation.

Her battle with Ovarian Cancer has been incredibly difficult, especially with the added complications of having a nephrostomy and an ileostomy bag. Tammy frequently has to go to the emergency room -at least twice per month, 100 dollars per visit- due to pain and side effects of her treatment. These frequent hospital visits have only added to the emotional and financial strain she's under.

Balancing her courses at CSUN with the rigorous cancer treatments has been exhausting. The treatments, along with her medical complications, have placed a huge financial burden on her. To make matters worse, Tammy struggles to afford fresh, healthy food, which is so vital for her strength during this time.

This fundraiser aims to support Tammy by covering her medical expenses, helping her afford fresh, nutritious food, and ensuring she can continue her studies without the constant worry of financial strain. Your contributions will allow Tammy to focus on what truly matters: her health and recovery.

Tammy is one of the most creative and loving people I know. Her dream is to work in the animation industry and share stories with the world. This diagnosis has made it hard for her to keep up with her classes, but she hasn't given up on her dreams. Every bit of support will help her stay on track and keep her spirit alive.

We're asking for your help to ensure Tammy gets the support she needs to fight this battle. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in her life. Please donate if you can and share this campaign to help spread the word. Thank you for helping Tammy focus on what truly matters: her health and her future.
