Joe had to have most of his small colon and lymph nodes removed due to appendix bursting and results came back showing cancer. He is now fighting a substantial infection from that surgery. He was life flighted to UPMC in Pittsburgh where they are trying to get the infection under control. He is possibly facing another surgery.
