Help Tamir find a forever loving home

Hello! I'm currently visiting my parents in Bahrain.
I've noticed and have been feeding/spending time with some strays by my parent's place. There were three dogs in total; Tamir, Shabah and Warda.
Shabah is a Saluki, lanky and white. A former racing dog (cropped ears a clear indication of his past) that was dumped once, I assume, regarded as useless.
Warda is a mixed breed, a sweet, extremely friendly and pregnant girl whom I managed to get adopted just before the new year :) She's now happy in a new home and a new brother called Biscuit!
Tamir is also a Saluki who was most probably a breeding dog and was also dumped at a random spot which happened to be my parent's neighbourhood. He's shy, and extremely timid and took a while to realise I wasn't a threat. He's got a broken front leg that's healed at an awkward angle but would limp with extreme enthusiasm when he spots me approaching with food.
Tamir and Shabah were thick as thieves until Shabah went missing. Now Tamir is all alone and cries when I have to leave after feeding him. My parents can't take him in as they've already got two very jealous and spoilt dogs (we tried but they won't accept Tamir)
All shelters in Bahrain are currently underfunded and full, and none would accept him.
I have been advised to raise money to help pay for the surgery needed for his leg and transport him to a foster program in the states that have accepted and successfully rehomed dogs from the middle east.
The weather is cold and damp in Bahrain currently and I worry about his welfare. He tries following me home and has also begged me to take him in but I genuinely can't. It's heartbreaking knowing he's alone without Shabah looking after him. Some people in the neighbourhood have also threatened to have him removed, which usually means euthanasia, an act that's been happening in other parts of Bahrain.
Every dollar counts and would be much appreciated. Please spread the word and help me find Tamir a loving forever home and family, away from harm.
