On February 24th, Tamilia Nicole Mason was on her way to work and her car engine seized up. She moved to Knoxville three years ago with her two daughters, granddaughter, and niece to find more affordable housing. Now her rent is going up. She works as many hours as she can get and can't make enough to pay for increased rent, let alone another car.
