Help Tamika Tate's Family Through Rohana's Crisis

I’m reaching out on behalf of Tamika Tate, who is facing an unimaginable challenge. Her two-year-old daughter, Rohana Brown, desperately needs a heart transplant.

July 20th She took her to Strong Hospital concerned about her breathing and she's been under the care of physicians ever since.

Tamika’s life was turned upside down when they had to leave their home in Albion, New York, to move to New York City, where they now reside at the Ronald McDonald House to be near the hospital. This isn’t just a journey for Rohana but for her entire family. Tamika has uprooted her children 18 and 11, to be by Rohana’s side. Her oldest daughter faced health issues of her own at a young age, and now this family is facing another battle they never expected.

Rohana’s first procedure was supposed to have her up and moving in just two weeks, but it has now been over 30 days, and she still hasn’t regained the ability to move. This prolonged struggle has only added to the emotional and financial strain on the family.

Because of Rohana’s fragile condition, Tamika has been unable to work, and her financial resources are quickly being exhausted. The mounting medical bills, the cost of living in New York City, and the emotional toll of caring for her family during this crisis have all become overwhelming.
