Hi, my name is Christian and I'm fundraising for my mother-in-law Tami Rush. Anyone that knows her often uses characteristics such as charismatic, caring, and genuine. All of these are true, but if someone were to ask me to use one word, the first one that would come to my mind is selfless. Tami has always put herself before others, I could go on all day with examples, some as simple as being there for us when we needed help repainting the house, or something much larger like having the courage to bring in and take care of family members during a time of need. The main theme is that she would always go above and beyond and would never ask anyone for anything in return.

Tami still has too much courage to ask, and that's why I'm here...

Several months ago our family received the devastating news that Tami was diagnosed with late-stage uterine cancer. At that time there were so many emotions and uncertainties, eventually, she decided to embark on a treatment process. This time has been extremely difficult for everyone involved, but we have all manifested optimism. I will always be grateful for those at St. Davids in Austin and especially those at UCSF who have extended Tami's life, however, with that comes overwhelming financial obligations. The road to recovery will be long and we are asking for help to assist in any way possible. Thank you for your time and generosity.
