In February of this year, I underwent a medical procedure and biopsies were taken for diagnostic reasons. The results revealed a severe bacterial infection in my esophagus and stomach, along with precancerous cells in both areas. To address these issues, I had to begin aggressive medical treatments to clear the infection and eradicate the precancerous cells. The risk of the infection spreading into my bloodstream and causing sepsis made the situation urgent and frightening.

Unfortunately, the side effects of these treatments have made me very ill, leaving me unable to leave my home or work. This has placed me in significant financial distress, as I am unable to afford my rent and monthly shelter expenses. The uncertainty and stress of this situation have been overwhelming, but I am doing my best to focus on my recovery and stay hopeful.
