Rebuild Hope for Tamer, His Sisters, and Parents

My name is Ibrahim Alnunu, and I will be responsible for receiving the donations collected through this campaign. All funds will be transferred directly to my friend Tamer in Gaza through trusted and secure financial channels, ensuring full transparency.

We recently launched this campaign as an urgent attempt to provide a source of income for Tamer and his family—a family of five—who are struggling to survive the ongoing war in Gaza. Below is a message from Tamer, sharing his story:

A Message from Tamer

Hello,

My name is Tamer, I’m 25 years old, and I’m from northern Gaza. I graduated with a degree in journalism, a field I was passionate about because I wanted to be a voice for the truth. But journalism in Gaza is dangerous, and my mother lived in constant fear for my life. To ease her worry, I gave up that dream.

Instead, I began working with my father in our small family sewing business, trying to build a stable future. I managed to save up and bought a small house, slowly preparing it to start a simple, peaceful life.

But everything changed on October 7th.

When the war broke out, our workshop was destroyed. My father and I lost our only source of income. We fled south, hoping to find safety—but even that was taken from us.

Our family home, where I lived with my mother, father, and two sisters, was completely destroyed. And shortly after, the home I had just bought was bombed as well.

Now we are five people—my parents, my two sisters, and me—living together, constantly moving from one unsafe place to another. No income, no security, no roof of our own. Only the will to survive and stay together as a family.

I’m not asking for help just for myself—I’m asking for a future for my entire family.
