My name is Tamenech Feyisa. I am a 39-year-old Ethiopian woman, and I am running out of time.
For 15 years I have been trapped on dialysis. Both of my kidneys failed when I was only 23. Since then, I have suffered through dialysis using my neck, both arms, both legs, and my groin — but all those veins have now closed. My last option is a catheter placed in my liver, which is only temporary and very dangerous. I am also battling heart problems and severe pain. Without a new kidney soon, I may not survive.
By God’s grace, my own brother has been matched as my kidney donor. We have already received medical approval and referral documents to have the transplant done in India. This is my only real chance to stay alive and live a normal life again.
The only thing standing between me and this life-saving surgery is money. I cannot afford the transplant, travel for me and my brother, hospital costs, or the medication I will desperately need afterward. Without help, this opportunity will be lost.
This is where you can help save my life.
I am humbly asking my brothers and sisters around the world to stand with me through prayer and financial support. Your help can give me back my life and renew my hope in God’s faithfulness.
My goal is to raise $30,000 to cover the kidney transplant in India, travel, accommodation, and the first months of recovery and medication.
Please help me. Help me receive this kidney from my brother so I can finally be free from constant pain and fear. I want to live a normal life again — to see my family grow, to worship without suffering, and to have hope for tomorrow.
Thank you for your kindness, your prayers, and your generosity. May God bless you for standing with me.
With faith and gratitude,
Tamenech Feyisa
