Hi, I'm Tameka.

After years of living with the symptoms of uterine fibroids, I have reached the point where surgery is no longer optional. My doctor has recommended we remove the papaya-sized fibroid along with a hysterectomy. This has had such a significant impact on my health and quality of life.

Like many women, I spent years trying to manage symptoms while continuing to work and live my life. But the condition has progressed to the point where treatment is beyond necessary.

In addition to the physical and emotional challenges of this journey, I am now facing substantial medical expenses. As I work to secure the best insurance coverage possible and prepare for surgery, I am responsible for insurance premiums, deductibles, hospital costs, specialist visits, medications, and the financial impact of taking time away from work to recover.

Asking for help is not easy for me.

Many of you know me through my work as a photographer, voice artist, content creator, and former model. Throughout my life, I've tried to approach challenges with resilience and optimism, but this is one of those moments when community support can make a tremendous difference.
