Our dear brother-friend Robert Tambuzi was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer in the summer of 2020 and recently completed a regiment of radiation and chemotherapy. The good news is, he called (Jan 21, 2021) to let us know that he is now cancer free!!! But the downside is his part of the six figure medical bill after the insurance payment is very significant.
We are aware that medical debt can be overwhelming, so we, his friends, are hoping others will pitch in and help the family retire this debt. Tambuzi has contributed much to our community with his activism and advocacy efforts to address social inequities. He has two more phases to complete his treatment, so he is on the mend! If you are able and willing to contribute to his and his family’s wellness, please do so.
