Hi my names Nemo and I am fundraising for my sister-in-law Tamara who's battle with cancer is all but lost.

She has been diagnosed with a rare cancer (mesothelioma) 21st known case worldwide is how rare it is.

Her battle started in 2023 at 26 years of age. The fight has been one of struggles Tamara cannot put into words.

The constant blood transfusions to keep her energy somewhat ok, the emergency trips to the hospital for complications in her body that occur at any given time, the random seizures, being bedridden for days sometimes weeks at a time either at home or inside a hospital ward and the list goes on.

Tamara has been in and out of hospital the last few years, which has seen her lose weight, time with family and friends, kept her caged at time's and missing important events and even from doing the simple things you and I take for granted of being able to drive to a friend's house or even to work.

Tamara loves to give and what makes her day shine is the days she can make it to work and spend time with her students who she adores. Tamara still makes it to work when she can and pushes herself to LIVE and not let her students down!

The mental strength of this women is remarkable but her body is a far cry from that.

Her family is a supportive one but they can only do so much and are stretched mentally, emotionally, financially. Who can help you bear the load if you yourself are buckling under the weight?

Tamara wishes to celebrate her life with a 'life party' because doctors are not confident, she will make it to her 30th birthday in December.

She has purchased a wedding dress for herself and a ring and said YES to life she will keep fighting and try and live with whatever time remains.

Having every loved one in the same room celebrating her life is her goal a room filled with love and support and memories.

I as a supportive member of the family cannot describe the sadness I feel LET ALONE a mother, a father...

Seeing a mother and father watch their daughter slowly fade away, brothers and sisters all powerless to help, friends and other family members that have to still live their daily lives with this dark shadow that has been looming over our heads for years. It is not easy is and that's an understatement.

None of the chemo has worked, different types, varying rounds, different categories nothing has worked so now the doctors have stopped the chemo and have told her to enjoy what time she has left.

I have prayed for her, for the family and now I turn to this:

I ask anyone who has read this to, if possible, donate whatever amount they can so that we can shed a little light on this dark shadow and help Tamara have the party she deserves!
